ALGICELL® Ag Antimicrobial Alginate Dressing is a high gelling, high strength dressing that utilizes a sophisticated ionic transfer technology to deliver low levels of silver.
It contains 1.4% silver, which provides a very high antibacterial effect immediately on the wound. The presence of complex ion transfer technology in this dressing creates an effective defensive wall against bacterial penetration and protects the wound from bacterial invasion, and by absorbing secretions, it turns into a gel state. Therefore, the patient does not feel pain when changing the dressing. This dressing is used in wounds with medium to high discharge.
