Epidural Set

The epidural catheter is designed to reduce problems in the epidural space, both for adults and for children (in lumbar and caudal procedures). In this design, strong catheter is kink-resistant and is accompanied with a soft and flexible tip, which reduces the risk of paresthesia and unwanted penetration of blood into the vein and dura space; this inadvertent error may release the drug in the epidural space to a wrong direction. Thanks to its fortified spiral structure, the process is carried out more quickly and easier. The structure of the catheter prevents it from collapsing, and it does not require stylet to insert (except in those cases where the caudal process takes place in the cetacean). The spring-shaped internal structure of the catheter, which is made of stainless steel, increases its radiopaque properties.

The presence of two special liquid control valves on the catheter body makes it easy to observe the blood or the cerebrospinal square.

The unique design of the catheter tip reduces the risks related to catheterization and paresthesia.
