Silicon Foley Catheter

Rüsch Brillant Foley catheters, made of pure colorless silicone, are distinguished by their smooth surface, both on the outer and inner lumen. Combined with the inertness of the material, urethral irritation and encrustation are largely avoided. Silicone also possesses high biocompatibility and biostability. Spontaneous reactions in the patient due to the material are unknown. Because of its good tolerability, silicone is the ideal catheter material, even for long-term use.
